This is a little Cave Mouth at midnight overlooking the desert. I've not made too many terrains, so please give criticism.

It's okay, but the edges of the cave are too flat, they should be rounder and more natural. Additionally, the terrain on the whole lacks doodads, fog (ambiance), and tile variation. Otherwise it's not bad, keep at it!

Perhaps you should add something like doodads more hills on the horizon to try and mask it so it doesnt look like a straigth drop off.

Thanks! I'm still mainly an actual mapper, but I find Terrain a pleasant distraction.

I agree with the hills, and with the rest of what you say. I'll see about updating it. I forgot to place a camera, but I should be able to get the view back, at least approximately.

Most definitely, It didn't occur to me at the time for some reason.

Thanks to both of you, for talking the time to comment!

EDIT: Post updated slightly. Hills in back ground still too low. Added terrain fog, and wind.
