Spells that have negative values are not accounting for them and working as if the values were positive.

Post an example...? If I told you my car doesn't want to start, does that tell you anything about the problem?

When you turn on Negative Values, you get this message saying

Quote:
Warning

Please be aware that many data fields can cause problems or even crashes in the game if they are set to negative values. This option exists to allow you to experiment and use negative values if they do not work.

Are you sure you want to allow negative values?

No / Yes

So yeah, I still have to ask, what ability is messing you over?

I never got that message... kind of sad...

Im using Thunder Clap as a base (i probably should have checked to see if the other spells worked properly)

I planned on making the exact opposite of the Mountain King (same abilities, except they heal rather than pwn)

Last time I tried negative values with Thunder Clap, I did manage to get speed and attack bonuses out of it however damage was zero no matter how negative. I'll have to try again some time in the future.

For AoE speed bonuses, Roar should work.

At the time I was trying to make a burst-heal AND a movement bonus.

Slam and War Stomp also have AoE damage, try them.

What about Roar for the speed, and a dummy unit with a healing aura that regens (X) health per second, lasting one second?

I can trigger it myself and it's a simple enough task, but at the time I didn't know how to trigger properly BUT I did know how to get negative values.

as was said by tide, i wanted all of the effects negative values, not just an aoe heal or bonus...

back to triggering... :(

At least if you trigger it, you'll get +2 exp in triggering... but be careful with it 'cause there's this lil' problem where if you dummy cast two abilities, you get the dreaded two-buffs effect which lowers pretension as well as causing some buff clashing.

Another great AoE spell is the one use by Scroll of Armor/Protection. It restores X amount of health and Y amount of mana, while giving +Z armor for the duration of the spell.
