Downloadable warcraft 3 updates.

My Warcraft 3 died for reasons yet to be revealed. I'll probably reinstall it once I find the discs but my computer has no internet.

Question: Is there any way to download updates to ~1.20 so I can get latest newgen to work with him? Also what version does the latest newgen work with?

On the Blizzard site, there's a patch (~50 Mb) that is backwards-compatible to the CD version, with everything you need. Good luck getting it without internet though...

The last version that's NewGen compatible is 1.21b (the latest patch, 1.22, broke compatibility), not sure about earlier patches, though. (the 1.21b patch is also good because it's a no-cd patch)

The blizzard ftp server has a load of patches, including 1.21b.

NewGen should theoretically work with 1.19 or even earlier versions.
But I can't guarantee it will.

My computer has no internet. I have access to it so no biggy.
