Hello wc3c! Just thought I'd drop by and put up a request for someone who can code JASS. I'm currently working on a map (by myself so far). I've finished the terrain and am currently working on the units. I will begin shortly on the triggers myself, but there some more complex things I would like to include. Its a "realistic" (as realistic as it can get i hope) large scale war map that i would like to include different play modes. I can probably do it on my own, but I believe that others can do a better job then i can. I'm not sure what info i should put up here to give people information, but if you have a question and are interested let me know. Thanks in advance!

Learning JASS is actually not difficult. You should do it.

Probably. I'll have to get started then I guess! Still, if anyone's interested I could definitely use some help =)

Any good tutorials you'd recommend? Or should i just learn from here at wc3c?

Here, at wc3c.

You'll find the most cutting-edge systems and code because they're developed by people on these boards. Do you have any prior programming experience?

Hi, to have someone work at your map, I think it is better to know someone from long from previous experience or to already have a decent work by yourself, it is hard to think of someone committing to a random project like that, and if they do, they might stop contributing as randomly as they joined the project.

I really don't have any experience. I'm taking a programming and problem solving course currently, so I've worked with visual basic. That's the most experience I have. Also, thanks for the advice Vexorian. I didn't expect to come here and find anyone really, but I figured it'd be worth a shot. I can at least get some good advice because to be blunt I'm at a loss when it comes to this!

This is really in the wrong forum. If you want help from a coder on your map, it goes in the recruitment forum. Moved.
