Well, I don't think I'm a good author, but I need a story anyways, so here it is: With the Burning Legion and the Undead Scourge at an immobile war, the mortal races are struggling to rebuild their empires and regain their power to resist the foul Plague of Undeath, and the Invanding Forces of the Burning Legion, during the short calm before the storm. The Scourge's primary stronghold in Northrend, the ancient, shattered kingdom of the Nerubians, is launching thousands upon thousands of foul Undead through the portal into Outland, spreading filth and disease. The Nerubians are struggling to regroup their forces and form an alliance with the Arachnathids to rebel against the Scourge, massing their forces in depths of the Old Kingdom, whilst driving the Faceless Ones and their Forgotten One out of their city. A great hero has arisen, Ne'gaul, the Shadow Magus, to lead his people to victory over the Scourge. Meanwhile, a young Tauren Axemarauder is leading his people to purge the remaining demon from the Barrens of Kalimdor, along with the Night Elves, who have agreed to send reinforcements south, to the Barrens. Fel Orcs, still enchanted by the Demon's Blood, have roamed south, towards the Barrens in large numbers, confused and furious at the Horde for destroying Mannoroth, the one who granted them power. At the same time, a Broken Dranei assassin has risen to power among his people in Outland, mounting raids and pillaging Demon outposts from a hidden base, prepared to bargain with the Legion, or destroy them. The Broken, however, are unaware of the Undead Scourge, advancing upon the Legion's Citadels and spreading it's rotten stench across Outland. The Strife of Rebellion has begun.... |
