Is it possible to use an object's ID fields?

It is possible to use the data fields from objects in the Object Editor? I noticed that all of the fields used for any object- be it a unit, item, destructible, ability, upgrade, or whatever else there is has IDs for every data field.

This is what I mean, and specifically why I am asking:

Stats - Food Cost (ufoo)
Stats - Gold Cost (ugol)
Stats - Lumber Cost (ulum)

I was wondering... these have IDs because something uses them, right? So, can't we use these for the Trigger Editor, too?

The uses for these are object editor exclusive. Blizzard lame'ified it.

Oh my god, that freaking sucks. My life would be so much easier if they could cross data with eachother... You think anyone can make something that can do that? O_o

Wait, aren't you the guy who made that topic in T&S about finding these things...?

Yeah, I did, but the process of getting to the same goal is different, so I thought that I had to make a new thread. I guess it wasn't needed, but it's not like I got the answer that I wish I would've gotten, anyhow.
