Hey all. I just got Milkshape 3D Ver. 1.8.4 Trial Version(26 days left), and i simply don't understand a thing in it. What i looking for is; any good tutorials for beginners, or any help to understand Milkshape. As a side question, does Milkshape is capable for editing already existing models(e.g. ForestTroll.mdx or an edited ForestTroll.mdx and so on)? +Rep for any sight of smallest help. Also, please note that i am not so good at English, so without too hard words please :S

should be lots of them out there, try a Google search. if you export the models and then import them you can edit them but they'll have to be UVW mapped again.

Like Nuclear Arbitor said, with a little Google search you can find most of your answers already. Yes, Milkshape is capable of editing models, if you have the right tools. Look around the forums here and you'll find more info.

What kind of tutorial are you looking for anyway? If you want to know how to use the tools in Milkshape, you could try experimenting yourself, it's not that hard. It's not as user-friendly as most commercial 3D software like MAX or Maya, but at least it's simpler. :D

Hmm... Okay... So, i found some tuts, and they kinda helped me. Also, i would like to know, how can i view my model with a gray material? And also very important-how can i rig or add an already existing in Warcraft3 skeleton? It is very important to me. I am about to make a Snowman and i want to transfer animations for him from the Dreadlord, so i need to know how. Thanks in advance.
