Some of these, are using M C!'s crystaline tutorial, and some not. I'll be posting all the icons I make here. Keep in mind that I started yesterday. :P So, comments? |

They're kinda blurry, could use a bit more sharpness and definition. I can't really tell what some of them are meant to be :/ Also, smudge = not good. |

A few tips: Work big. Something like 6in x 6in. Shrink it down only at the end. Use several strong colors. If you make something all one color, it will look like it lacks detail and contrast. Don't use smudge. If you have a tablet work using opacity depending on tablet pressure. If you work big, then it doesn't have to be blended very well. It blends itself when you shrink it down at the end. |

Yeah, a lot of these I can't even figure out what they're supposed to represent. You're going to need to spend a lot of time ensuring that you know your concept before drawing it up. If you don't know what you want to make to the tee, you're probably going to end up creating something random and indecipherable. (Like happened here) |

Thanks. As I said, these are mostly experiments. I will take this in to advice, and not use smudge. I think I made these up at 128*128. but will scale to something more like 512*512 in the future. I will post some more from last night in a second. Definition will be my next goal. EDIT: This is the best one of the few that I made last night, and I'm not going to show the others, simply due to unbearable awfulness. The endpoints and the swirl in the middle, are ugly. I'll go see about fixing them. EDIT 2: I have uploaded a WIP of an Axe Icon. At the moment it is bland, and un-interesting, but with a better back ground, and a few refinements it could be okay. At least I think so. |

Well, here are some that I'm actually very happy with. |

Some of them I can barely tell what they are coming out to be. They kinda look like laser beams or sharp rocks. |

The perspective on the "sharp rock" is rather strange. That is basically whats it is supposed to be though. |
