I thaught of a warlock (hero), who is followed by some Acolytes. If he cast a spell one or more Acolytes die. Now the problem: The Acolytes are Units with a attack (ranged), the Locust-ability (you can't controll them) and they're invunerable. BUT the Acolytes should slowly regenerate (max x Acolytes; passive ability, some Levels, for each Level the Acolytes get better). If one Acolyte is summoned (regenerated), he shall be connected, with a lightning, to the warlock. The Acolytes shall follow their Master independant and with the same speed. If the distance between Acolyte and warlock is too big, kill Acolyte. If the warlock dies, kill all Acolytes. Answers please as complete normal Triggers (I'm not so good in using the Trigger-Editor ) or COMPLETLY WORKING JASS-Triggers (I can't JASS ).Thx ant sorri vor mi bat Inglisch. |

post your own version of code. |

I'm sorry there is no really working own version. I've got the Acolytes, the Warlock and a code witch crushes my system. And I sad, I haven't got a lot of experience with the Trigger-Editor and none with JASS. I'm very happy about every little part of code you can give me. Thx ant sorri vor mi bat Inglisch |

You've got a nice idea there. Is this for multiplayer, multiunit or just one player? To make this fully MUI for multiples of that hero for each player, you need jass. |

It's for a Multiplayer map, but each hero can be only one times on the map (equal to wich Player he belongs). I'm happy about every little piece of code or every idea you have. If your idea is made with JASS please give me the COMPLETE code 'cause I've no experienxe with JASS. I only know how to import JASS code. Thx ant sorri vor mi bat Inglisch |

No, sorry. As far as I know, there's no simple answer for this. I know because I've tried (unfortunately). What you're describing is the system for this one "caster" unit in Battle for Middle Earth 2: Rise of the Witch King (or something; it's the Expansion set); it's on the "icy bad-guy" side, this evil Caster followed by a big group of "acolyte casters", and he's got these super-powerful spells, but they require a certain number of sacrifices (= his acolytes). Very cool. Another example would be in Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour; the GLA Angry Mob unit. Only this isn't a caster; it's an assault unit, that's actually made up of several independent (yet linked) units. They all share one big HP-bar, and as they die, the HP goes down. They move together, yelling all the way. Super-strong, can take down most anything quickly; but are incredibly vulnerable to anti-infantry tactics (no duh), like radiation, toxins, and napalm. So yeah. Short of some JASS, I don't know how to help you; I'm in the same boat. :/ Good luck! |

but opposite to the GLA Angry Mob my Acolytes are invunerable and only the Warlock has a HP-bar. But thx for your answer and i've tried the carissons swarm-trick You're right it does not work Sorri vor mi bat Inglisch |

^Yeah... I know. That's why I put the Angry Mob second; kinda like an "aside" to the main point. They're similar, not the same. Anyway, sorry. If I find a solution, I'll try to remember to post it here. Szythe had something going, but he had JASS and all sorts of add-ons. |

I'm happy about every little piece you can give me. Yesterday I had a Idea but I don't know whether its working or not: Use a creep-system (like in dota) but do not use areas as waypoints, but use the Warlock as waypoint. would that work Bye ant sorri vor mi bat Inglisch |

Other idea: Acolytes: add effect to unit (Acolyte-Model is effect) Acolyte-Attack: something like autofire or splitshot from DotA warlock dies: remove effect would that work? Bye ant sorri vor mi bat Inglisch |

Wrong. Indexing. The first suggestion you mentioned would probably be easiest for you to do. |

there'll be only one hero of each type at the same time on the map var 2 was a unrealistic idea but I thaught it was a good idea. |
