Super Sayain Aura?

Hello,

Can someone please tell me a way to make it so my hero gains a super saiyain aura (a transparent yellow light that engulfs the hero's body like flames but is transparent enough not to block the hero)?

maybe you can use the effect of Doom...

Totally wrong section for this, dude.

Anyways, easiest thing for it would be to edit the Immolation art in Mago's
Model Editor to be yellow and mostly transparent then attach that to your
model ingame.

Moved to general development. And yes, a yellow-hued immolation would look good for this.

Also, find a way to increase hair size and density 10-fold per level, and you'll have the ultimate super-sayain aura.

if you do use the immolation, I would suggest increasing the size to better fit the whole model, rather than just its chest.

Modified Doom (target) would work really well here too.

Thanks all and sorry for the delay in responding.
(I subscribed to the thread but didn't get an e-mail response).

Good tip, doom looks really nice!

About changing doom's fire to yellow, isn't there some setting in the doom ability?
In case there isn't.... I downloaded the model editor, but I am not sure how to do what you suggested:

I haven't ever made or edited a model before, so please tell me how to do this using War3 Model Editor v1.07.

EDIT: Also, how can I make the aura expandable through a trigger (i.e. I can make it get 10 times bigger) using GUI?

I don't know about your other questions.

But look up some Magos tutorials; it's not too hard (at least messing with particles is somewhat user-friendly; use some logic and mess with some numbers to see what happens). In fact, there's a pretty good SFX tutorial right on the Home page (see "recent tutorials").

I think it would just be a matter of changing the particle emitter nodes to a yellow coloring. That's about as far as my knowledge of Magos' goes.

Changing the model seems too complicated for me right now, so I'll just stick to "dooming" the super saiyan to give it immolation.

Thanks all for your help.

Red.
How about combining both (Doom and Immolation) SFX?

Or something like:
Code:
"Super Saiyan 1" SFX = Doom
"Super Saiyan 2" SFX = Immolation
"Super Saiyan 3" SFX = Doom, Immolation
"Super Saiyan 4" SFX = Doom, Immolation, <Name of model used> tint, darkened slightly
