Blood Elf Requests!

Hi mod makers! I was wondering if someone could please make some Blood Elf and/or Draenei buildings from World of Warcraft for use in Warcraft 3. These would be very helpful in improving my maps and campaigns. Thank you for your time!

Unfortunately , if im not mistaken there are rules against the use of WoW models to make ones for warcraft III...

Really? Why did they come up with that rule?? Some of the buildings and ideas from WoW would be awesome in Warcraft 3!

Exporting models from WoW (or any other copywrited game) is against the rules. Inspirition is fine.

Theres a actually a decent set of building models in the resources section.

^Yeah, in fact, there's even a Draenei and Blood Elf building pack, so I don't know what you're requesting en masse for... Not sure about the BE, but 99% about the Draenei.

He was asking for scratch models or edits based on those screenshots, not exports, and he was asking for the buildings as they appear in the screenshots, not the buildings that are in the resource section...

I tried the Draenei models and none of them have worked on my editor..... Most of the blood elf ones work too but ones like the hawkstrider model dont work either. Does anyone know how to fix this??

How doesn't it work? I think I got that one too (SinisterX?), and it worked for me.

The rider isn't animated; is that what you're talking about?

What I mean is when you upload them in your editor then save it, exit, and open it again, it still does not appear, it show up as a yellow and blackcheckered box!!! The ones I used were the Draenei building pack, high elf building pack, and ALL of the the Draenei models. none of these worked!!

I dunno. It seems you got your paths wrong, or something. I wouldn't think that the models are corrupt or anything. Just make sure everything you import has the right custom path in the Import Editor.

Ya, sort of, it just needs more colors like gold and red if its going to be for blood elves. Once you get color on it, it will be great! (try putting designs on it too). Other than that it looks fantastic! Thanks!
