Phew! Well, I just finished reworking another set of rules for our database. The Map Submission Rules have been updated to include a lot of the new stuff we've been adding in recent days. You may have noticed that pretty little icon of a map under a bunch of users' names, that's a recent addition. It's all explained in the rules, but basically now you receive a reward icon and +10 rep automatically for getting your map approved and moved to the database. This adds a bunch to the prestige of being in our database!


Take a minute out of your busy schedules to review them and consider how they might impact you and your own maps now and in the future. Cheers! :)

It is a motivation for making a map that would be aprooved. Cool

and what about motivation making cool models and skins?

Making a model / a skin takes, what, few hours? Making a map takes a few days (as in if you put all the hours back to back) or more...

Months? One month'd be at least 672 hours. Most maps don't take that long.

Most... I don't even want to consider the hours I've invested in mine.
Psh! I'm certainly not complaining. xD

So I guess that several approved maps = several reward icons?

Yes. We're working on a system to streamline the displaying of icons under names, so don't worry. No telling when it'll go over, though.
