I'm taking a look. EDIT: Make that later, but I will get around to it. It looks interesting, and I hope that you did the item system well. -- Did you custom code it or use a system? I've not played the game, but it appears as if you put a lot of time into this map and I look forward to testing it. |

Does that map image with all the races on it have any relevance to the terrain? |

Speaking of which, attach that image to your post. |

Here we go:
From what I've seen, the map has some potential, and if you add in more usable, and interactive skills. I'm going to have to disprove this map. I have no auctual power though, so don't be alarmed. |

I've just tested this map and i agree with hawk. This map has potential but the lack of variation with the skills is off putting, the creeps don't seem to respawn (although i may be mistaken), the enemies in general are way too powerful and no matter how strong you manage to get there is always a shit load in one area waiting to kill you. The warrior was all about weakening the opponent, dying, weakening some more, dying then eventually killing it. The promotion quests were very similar on both sides, a bit of variation would go a long way. Another problem is the weapons and armours available to buy. Each city has exactly the same. Which is kind of a let down when you start exploring. Besides from that i did enjoy the map, it got a bit monotonous after a while but the terrain fog as the enemy leaders died was a brilliant touch. The games idea in general is genius. A rpg style of map, for lack of a better term, while still keeping that competitive feel. |

Also, the 'polish' in game was lacking. I found that just the buildings didn't mesh well and the shops seemed messy for some reason. I don't really know how to quantify what I mean, but you might understand what I'm saying. |

thx for the comment by the way the creeps does respawn but they do so randomly so if you are clearing only one area there is a greater chance for creeps to be spawned in some other area.As for the game play I must say its really lame if you play alone but with the full house it can be much interesting. The warrior, knight or berserker classes are tank so you have to wear the shield if you are to endure the dmg.Make suggestions about new class abilities for warrior or any other class anything you think that will improve the gameplay. PS. plz start listening to the proper oldschool metal ![]() |

Class abilities that are more interactive with the players are a good idea. Try to make abilities that take some combination of aim, timing, and control. |

Downloaded. . . I'll comment soon. Well, I played mage this time, and it has much the same problems. The creeps were easier to kill with wizard, but the items and what not were difficult to find. Also, there was a very limited skill selection, on each tree. I got Fire, and Spirit, both Flame Shield & Bolt as well as heal. In the base I started in I couldn't find any weapon skill, so I bought a Fine Dagger, but I seemed couldn't manage to use it. I went marauding, killed a few creeps after spending !5 minutes buying skills/items. Then, I encountered a catapult bombarding something. I went to investigate. They were creeps that dealt almost as muhc damage at ~700 range as I has life, with thousands of life of their own. I died. Overall, this map has some nice features/systems in it that work well, but the gameplay, and the useability (finding the right shop, ect.) really need more work. |
