Well, I'm a guy playing drums. And I wanted to post some of my crap, so here goes. This is my playing something improvised, it's got a few errors, but meh. I've been playing drums for 4 years. PS: sorry about the bad sound, it was recorded on a cell phone. Oh, and the converter cut 2 min off, so... Download: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/a...rums-drums.mp3 |

Double bass drum pedal? Not horrible, and it sounds a lot better when you accent that slow beat with 16th notes on the snare. The quality really sucks, though. Like... can't-even-hear-the-cymbals-very-much sucks. Do you play rock only, or do you play in a jazz band or other types of bands? Did you learn at school/do you play in school, or do you just have a kit in your garage? |

Nope, no double here. :D And I don't play very much jazz, mostly rock and funk. Oh, and I have learned from teachers and by myself. But the first 3 years I learned by myself. And if anyone got any interest in it, I play drums (without at home) 5 times weekly. |

Sounds cool. Can you get a better recording of yourself playing? I'd like to hear you play some funk :) |

I can. Me and my friend is currently practising our own song, we'll put it on youtube, but I'll post it here too. I don't know if it's funk, but it's a mix between rock and funk atleast. And the rythm there is quite simple. |
