Sight Range Bug

In my map, when a hero dies, his vision decreases to 800 no matter if its day or night. Its vision is 1200 during day and 1300 during night. Hero based off Night Elf hero. the game time is default except it changes day every 240 seconds.

i did not change anything that has to do with sight range, i do not have visibility modifiers.

anyone know why.

Are you reviving the hero or creating a new one? Perhaps you have a second hero unit that is the same but with a different sight range and you're accidentally creating one of them instead of the right hero...?

there is no way to detect sight range ingame, why you think its 800 ?

im sure its revive, i used

call ReviveHero(d.u, x, y, true)

also, 800 is an estimate, its like when the hero dies, his vision shrinks to a "death sight" and when he revives, he gets stuck with it.

dont revive heroes instantly, w8 death time and animation (5 seconds will good)

actually i wait 10 -15 seconds, i was just showing you the part that actually revives, the countdown though is 10+

edit: oh wait... that might be it, i set the countdown to 1 just for test... hmm..


edit2: your right, i can only recreate the bug in DM mode where theres 1 s respawn time. i guess ill bump it up to 3 then
