I haven't submitted anything here in a long while, but here's something I made today. |

This is very nice. Now I wanna go and make my own cliff-to-open-space (The Lion King-esque) terrain in my map. |

That is a very nice turn out ~Void~! Keep them coming! I enjoy your works. |

Wow! Ps. Do you do terrains for actual in-game use? If you do, you would be on my dream team for a project! |

Lovely. |

Sweet pic, personally i think a few more trees or any decorative doodads just before the horizon would make it perfect. Great job! |

upside down rocks? its very good although I'm getting some sort of perspective distortion from the cliff. maybe because the guy is too big compared to the trees. |

Nah, it looks rather cluttered with more detail in the background. Also, the trees at this high elevation (icecrown is quite high) are rather short. Think of them as around 6-10 feet tall. Arthas is rather tall, as well. |

For WC3, the proportions are fine, although in general I find the dude way big compared to the trees and agree with previous posters. I think some larger trees in just as sparse a distribution would only look better. Otherwise, it's nice. I feel that the cliff side could use more detail, right now it has none at all except the dude. That it's the center of attention for the shot should merit it more attention. Perhaps some snow built up in piles on the sides with more icicles hanging off of it. I also feel like more detail on the ground wouldn't hurt, right now it's rather empty. |

icecrown is probably one of the most realistic areas in warcraft with feralas and ashenvale being the worst. the problem is that arthas is to big to be as far away as he looks and it end up showing when compared to the trees. taiga isn't that hard to replicate though |

And you say I'm a better terrainer than you? Jesus. This fucking rocks! You're the next MadseN. ~Craka_J |

@Dusk - Hm. I hear what you're saying, but I think the textures of the rocks provide enough detail as it is. If I add too much detail, things tend to look cluttered and not so much like a snowy wasteland. Any small details on the cliffs would be covered up by ice. @Craka - Thanks :D @Everyone - Something special is going to be added to this terrain. Not by me. You will see :P |

I don't know, man. There's quite the disparity between too cluttered and too undetailed. Right now I think this piece of art could use to be taken to the middle ground, and if anyone can manage that it's you. |

Alright, I'll see what I can do, after I get the map back. |
