Sorry for the all caps, but uhh it's just me being moody. Anyway, I need an animator's help for a couple of simple animations. This is for a sideproject I am making, the custom animations play an important role in it. The project is a shooter type of map where two teams of 6 face each other to the death. Whenever a person "dies", he just drops down on the ground, leaving him helpless, this is called being downed. The player cannot be killed by normal means, only through an execution where the killer stomps the downed target or hammers him with his rifle, brutally ending the victim's life. The downed player can also crawl away to safety, to be revived by his teammates. Basically, it's GEARS OF WAR ON WARCRAFT III. I would need you to add a custom animation to the Marine model. Which are: 1.) "Stand Alternate" - The marine is lying down on the ground. This is exactly like Walk Alternate except that the marine isn't moving. 2.) "Walk Alternate" - The marine is crawling on the ground. 3.) "Attack Slam" - The marine strikes the ground with his rifle. 4.) "Death Alternate" - The marine is lying down on the ground and dies as if he was hammered by a rifle. 5.) "Spell Slam" - The marine stomps the ground. Extra details: In order to explain how the anims are in a more detailed fashion, please watch this video as a reference. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ik7N2...eature=related In that video, when a player dies, he falls on the ground, he can also crawl. I want Stand Alternate and Walk Alternate to look like those. In the video there is an execution where the player uses his sniper rifle as a sledgehammer, I want Attack Slam to look like that. Also in the video, the player "curb stomps" a dying player, I want Spell Slam to look like that. For the death animation, please look at the video where the player swings his shotgun like a golf club, I want the death animation to look like the victim there. Please consider my request, I would very very grateful for your kindness. Thanks for your time. |

Evidently you were too moody... Chriz. is taking some time off, if I remember correctly, so I don't know who else might be willing to animate for you. Also, I assume this is for your alternative AoS idea? You might want to mention what this is for and/or provide info; that might spark some interest. |
