Orgrimmar v2.0 project!

I think blizzard kinda screwed up Orgrimmar's awesomeness with WoW. So I'm remaking it.

So far I've done the entrance/area outside it and the Cleft of Shadows.

The second picture has great atmosphere, you really have captured the dark feeling. The only thing i hate in the picture is that the mushrooms is blue. It don't really feel right with blue mushrooms.

I don't like the first picture at all. Ogrimmar for me has always been a place full of life. But your picture represents a small village not a large village. Its all thanks to the surroundings, it feels like people never uses those roads. It gives me a feeling that Ogrimmar has been abandoned for several years.

But keep up the good work, would like to see more pictures like the second one.

The shadowy effect in the 2nd picture is nice.

Orgrimmar is hewn/mined-out of the rock; it is supposed to look rugged and "hewn". Like the above guy said, in the first pic, it is too 'naturally-preserved' and uninhabited, i.e. not messed-up (some littering bits of metal/weapons/shields, some bare-treaded earth, etc.).

I too disagree with the blue mushrooms in the second picture, it doesn't contrast well with the other objects in the screenshot, otherwise: amazing.
*sigh* I suppose I can try to rep you again..

edit:
Shame, couldn't rep you.
Anyhow, is this playable?

Nope. They might be added into WC3:WoW as cinematic pieces or loading screens or something, but I have yet to discuss the matter with Craka_J.

Pretty much the same feeling that the others here said. Also would like to bring in another point about first pic, there is too much everything there. Rocks, woods, everything you could use as a cover should you be trying to invade that city.

Orgrimmar is a warrior city and built to last possible sieges and battles, of course they would remove all the possible obstacles their enemies could make use of, ie. rip down the roots, smash rocks, flatten hills, etc.. just to make sure you see your enemy before they're at the gates.

Other than that, looking good.

Oh pff, come on. I'm not going to consider tactical hazards when creating a terrain; this is art not architecture! :P

I love the color contrast and especially the sunlight in the first one. Keep it up.

The second one is definitely my favourite.
But the first is exceptional as well.
