No buddy notification?

When you add someone to buddy list they don't get notification about it.
Is is supposed to behave that way?

Is it the same for ignore list?

I don't know if it's "supposed" to, but in some cases it's probably good... I could imagine someone being embarassed to let certain others know they're on their Buddy list.

Whats the point in a buddy list anyways? Like what would it add that is not already present?

Yes, it is anonymous. This version of vB has a very primitive buddy system, just the way I like it. This is supposed to be a WC3 modding site anyways, not MySpace.
