This is my 1st scratch model it use ingame textures.
Tool used :Magos' ,Oinker VM and notepad.
I modeled the half of the model from a plane primitive and then I cloned and mirrored to make the other half.
The bird on his head is geomerged.
Devinearmy helped me to flip backface so that I don't have to use 2-sided material.
It is rigged I just need to animate it now.

How in the bloody heck... You say you modelled it from a freakin' plane? What, did you Extrude the sides over and over again?? (wait, no, that's 3dsmax)

(^display of modelling n00bness)

Still, huh?

I thought Freddy was that creepy guy who kills people in their dreams. Not a living meatball (?).

Anyways, it looks very nice. Thought some different angles would be nice, and not wireframed.

Can we get a shot from the semi-above angle that it would be seem from in war3? So far it looks cool, but I am slightly concerned that it will look monotone from above.

Modeling in VM is somewhat slower. but it's easy.

Although I too expected to see the good ol' villain from Elm street, I think this little rascal is cute.

Well I named it Fredy out of random reason.

Here's a picture from above.

I think too his head is a bit empty.that's why I put a bird.

It doesn't seem very "clean". It's hard to properly explain what I mean. But it seems a bit messy and random.

You know what? Looking back on my post I was wrong. I dislike the bird on his head though.

Well, it's certainly "random". Not in a necessarily bad way, however.

Is there any particular... 'inspiration' for this piece? Or just a "trying to make a model", "1st attempt" sorta thing?

I actualy thought this monster before modeling it.somekind of monster who eat everything anytime.
But I didn't planned how I'd model it.It was pretty instinctive.

@Hawkwing : I dislike the bird too.But it desperatly need something to cover its head.I'll probably replace it by something else.

And this is why Callahan will always win in our hearts.

Mc !
He looks like a maneater tomato. So instead of the bird you could add him a couple of leaves to cover a bit of his bald head xD.

Unless you're a tomato-hater.
