Is there any way to improve unit pathing? ie. you tell a unit to go somewhere and it takes the stupidest most lengthy route possible to get there. I have attached an image of the area I'm having problems with. The entrances have line of sight blockers on them, but no actual pathing blockers. However, if you don't move in short intervals into that area, your unit will walk around the entire thing and enter through the bottom. |

Ammroth did a good pathing system, which allow you to have full control aabout how this unit should move. http://www.wc3campaigns.net/showthread.php?t=89813 EDIT: this one can be useful too: http://www.wc3campaigns.net/showthread.php?t=80824 |

I don't need units to follow roads, I need units to go where people tell them to go, with the easiest path available? Can those systems do that? It seems that those are mainly for units following roads in rpgs and TDs =/ |

try remove the line of sight blockers and see if it changes anything. If it does, try placing them with triggers after the game starts. Sight may have something to do with pathing. |

pathing blockers fuck up pathing no matter what they are. one map i was working on i placed air pathing to stop air units, and quite a lot too, and normal units couldn't go threw unless u moved them right up against them and click a hell of a lot. |
