Made for the Hero Contest #3.

Model based on Sylvanus Windrunner, and heavily modified.

Her shoulder-pads don't seem to actually be attached to the model? They reveal unsightly holes in most of the sequences. (Though I have seen Blizzard models doing equally horrible things, so you can probably get away with it.)

Otherwise, quite nice. Maybe she could pull down the dagger down a bit faster in the spell sequence.

The totem looks more like a Tauren item than a High Elif item? Probably due to the Tauren symbol on it. Also, what is Stand Alternate for? According to Magos', everything disappears except the lightning and the dangly bits.

The totem is for our previous hero, before we changed the entry. It WAS a tauren Blood Shaman, we changed to that. About the shoulders-yes, those were geomerged since they needed a different texture(Note: i don't have any actual 3d editing programs besides Oinker's MDL and Magos Model Editor since i can't afford them). About the dagger in the spell anim-its the normal Sylvanus spell anim(if i remember right), and the other anims are from the Demon Hunter, and i have no idea how to animate besides with the most buggy program ever-Warshape.

About spell alternate for the totem-i really have no idea why blizz made the Statis Trap have it, so i decided to leave it to not ruin anything accidentally :3

Oh cool. With the skillset in mind, I can see this is a solid entry.

The backpack is a bit strange, IMO. Daggers look nice, and good usage of the unused Ranger skin (green tattoos). Very schweet.

I think I'd like her better if her eyes were better proportioned. Otherwise, though, I think it could use more 'hero' details on the whole. She's a rather bit unimposing.

A generally safe assumption.

The eyes are at perfect proportion-if i make them even a little smaller, they will show the original eyes. What you see out of proportion is the "glow", basically the eyes just bigger and with Additive filter mode. About more details-if i had more space to put stuff, i would definitely add some things. But i lack ideas and lack space.

It looks like a gigantic crystal, not an eye, which is more than likely the problem. Perhaps reducing the intensity would do the trick, show some of the skin behind the glow.

And I think a scarf could be really cool if it wreathed around her neck and flowed fluidly behind her over one shoulder.

So your major concerns Dusk, are the eyes and the fact that she's too little "heroic"?

I agree, she needs more "heroic" stuff. Look at the likes of the Paladin; massive hammer, big flowing cape, giant magic/holy book, and pauldrons that could choke a camel.

Okay, i will try to do the scarf, but i don't know how to reduce the intensity...

Add a scarf, yeeess...

Y'know, she seems to be lacking something "magical". Like, she's a Mage Hunter, right? She even employs magic to catch them (oxymoronic, but not really), just like the Spellbreaker. And the Spellbreaker has glowing runes, and magicky-particles off his glaive, etc. So give this hero something magical (other than the eyes), IMO.

--EDIT--
Like maybe, since it's based off the Demon Hunter (anims), who has a dual-bladed weapon, you make her daggers have this "staff" on the other end, like a dagger-staff (similar to Mc!'s Arcane Ranger, the "staff/bow"). The other end of the dagger would have some magicky-glowing orb that trails SFX as she moves/attacks.

I actually like it that she's quite low-key. Over-the-top three-times-scaled-up heroes just annoy me.

^Huge heroes are annoying.

Oh yeah, and deolrin; this obviously isn't required for Approval, but are the BTN icons really so large as to require their own .RAR? It'd be a lot more convenient if everything were in one .RAR, and in separate folders inside.

Okay, so...

Next version:

-Merged icons .rar and model .rar
-Scarf
-Try to make something "magic-ish", maybe an orb as Kytbi0 suggested
-Priest's eye effect on the portrait(delete the previous)

Just decrease the alpha on the additive layer. Though I might suggest removing it entirely and going for sparkly particles like, say, the priest's portrait.
