Project Highlighting

What ever happened to it? I havn't seen one since last October if you don't include the announcement of This Wreckange and Desert of Exile's releases.

It was a really good idea and clued some people in on some really cool projects, I do think it should be brought back. I understand some of the mods are tight on time and occupied with other site and real-life things, so if that's the reason it's alright.

It is a good idea, and I guess it would fall onto me as the Project Director to do. I'll look into it. I guess the biggest problem is that I'm very rarely impressed with maps that are released, so there's not very many things I'd actually interview an author over.

Captain Griffen
Aside from an initial burst, no one submitted any projects to be looked at. I was planning on doing more, but the lack of a pool containing new, interesting and potentially quality projects from was a major issue.

Well if I recall it was every 2 months, and it wasn't always a completed project. You could interview the makers of maps that got accepted, for example when TcX was accepted or UP2 was, you could've gotten Toadcop or Zizz.

Potentially, but a map being accepted is even rarer than a map being released. I really didn't give this any thought at the time, particularly because I was under the impression Griffen was the guy in charge of the highlighting. Still, I don't know.

Soon it will all be under Dusk's control. We must stop him before it is too late!

In other words: Griffles ran out of friends to interview.
