Hey guys.

I am doing a model for my friend, and i had a little problem in the way. The model was a Villager with Pitchfork and Felguard's Attack - 1\Stand Ready animations(other anims are normal Villager), but when i transfered the animation, it simply didn't work.

Thats all i did before the problem occurred:

I oppened The Prophet's Model Viewer, extracted the Villager Male model and Felguard model(and a few others-but they have nothing to do with the current problem). I converted the two models into MDL format using Warcraft III Mdlx Converter 1.03 and oppened them both in two different Magos Warcraft III Model Editor windows. I deleted the "corpse" from the special "Corpse-carrying" animations of the Villager, and deleted those animations.

Thats how the un-animated villager looked:

Zoom

After that, i changed the "Rebels"(Villager) bones to the Felguards ones.

Thats how the Rebels bones looked in Node Manger(Magos):

Node Manager(Upper part):
Zoom
Node Manager(Lower part):
Zoom

And thats how the Felguards bones looked in Node Manger(Magos):

Node Manager(Upper part):
Zoom
Node Manager(Lower part):
Zoom

After that, i transfered the "Attack - 1" animation from the Felguard to the "Rebel":

Zoom

And thats how the "Attack - 1" animation looked in magos:

Zoom

...yeap, thats right, absolutely unanimated =\

Anyone knows whats the problem and how to fix it? I will Rep anyone who will try to help me, and if you want, i will "force" my friend to give you too Credits in his map

EDIT: Never mind, i solved the problem. You may close this thread now.

Hi. I know the reason: Villager and Fel Guard have different skeleton types which cannot allow animation transfer from one to another.

However,
If you solved the problem can you share it with me becoz i am facing the same difficulties.

Solved it already... Long time ago. I just used the other villager, and... voila! It all worked.
