What's the best ability to put on a unit if you want it to always take 0 damage?

Invulnerability.

I figured units would ignore it then. I want it to still get attacked normally, just always have its incoming damage reduced to 0

You are right about that.

Use the Hardened Skin ability from the Mountain Giant. You can edit the Data - Reduced Damage to something high (99999.0) and then set Data - Minimum Damage to 0. Or, you can try editing Elune's Grace as this one includes magic damage.

Thanks

EDIT: Actually just adjusted all the damage factors in the game constants menu to 0. Works perfect

Divine armor. only chaos can hurt it.

Currently Divine Armor takes 5% damage from any damage sources except Chaos (100%).

He was asking for abilities, as far as I know, it's easiest and quickest method for this was the given and taken one - Hardened Skin.

Spiked Carapace does this as well. Although Warcraft doesn't utilize it, it can reduce damage by a straight percentage. Just change the field to 1.00.

I believe Defend does this, as well.

Another solution would be the "Beserk" ability that the orc Troll Berserker's have. Just change the "damage taken increase" to any negative value.

The problem is Berserk must be casted in order to take 0 damage (and can be purged).

Yep, i wasn't sure if it would be a problem as the op didn't mention any requirement so i thought i'd throw it out there. :)

Yeah I should've been more specific

This is for a custom damage system so I dont have to worry about the divine damage.

thanks for the help though
