I was wondering about the "no WoW exports" rule. I'm alright with it, but I have what I think is a WoW export, that I would like to use. Are there any rules as to how much it needs to be edited to be "alright"? Or is it more like "you can gain inspiration from WoW, but no direct exports evar"? (also, I'm not 100% sure this is the right forum...) |

Nah, it would go mostly on Artist's Discussion and Queries And your second guess (the one with inspiration from WoW but no direct exports evar) it's totally right. I had to make 2 models for dusk because of that. |

Dang. Alright, thanks. (Wait, what if it has no bones or animations or anything?) Never mind, I just found out that what I have is not a WoW export. Disregard and/or Close, plox. |

Even if you don't need the answer now, if it has no bones or animations it still has the mesh, making it a WoW export. Even if it were only the texture it wouldn't be allowed. |
