Updated Map. Version Alpha 1.7 Quite a few Updates. Mostly The Rider Function. Builder Function Updates The Camera has been updated. and now doesn't crash. Also has more features. It should also be easy to finish your coaster now. Rider Function Updates The Rider Function is still a little buggy. But mostly works. (That includes the rider cam, the cart moving on the tracks correctly and a few others things) Cool Coaster Picture contest Also If you get any good screen shots of your coaster. I would like to have them. Ill Replace it with my current picture at the top of the post |

Oh snap, dude. That's an unusual application of an RTS. |

This looks amazing. I really want to test that soon :) EDIT: I liked this so much while testing I actually decided to do those 3 tester objectives in your post. I was able to do all three of them (as long as I understood what you meant for the loop one). I have the replay if you're interested. |

Thanks guys for all the good feed back. And thanks for sending me the replay. Its still a little buggy. But i hope to have the next version still near featureless but run as good as i can get it. And future versions after that add game modes and more players. Still working on it. But my classes are a bit tuff at the moment, so when i get time ill get back on it. Other wise its just a little here and there. |

I always wanted to make a sort of JPOG with creeps but never got around to it. This is a similar idea. I'ma test now. WOW! Very smooth. Only complaint is the lack of physics; there is no increases in speed when you go down a huge incline. |

One thing I noticed on the rider, sometimes going down a straight railing, he'd flip over to the other side of the track. |

Lies lol. There is. But its hard to tell, i need to increase the change in speed for the physics. But if you watch it from the zoomed out mode, and do big enough coaster's you can tell. it will go from 100 ms to 522 ms. For a good example of this type "rc2" when your working on your coaster, and use the nommal zoom, (not first person) and you will see it speed up and slow down. But even at 522 its hard to tell your moving fast from first person. I think more speed wont fix that problem. But adding trees you pass by or something, so it feels like your moving more. This is something i am addressing. But at this point i don't plan to increase the 522 speed max. TEC_Ghost Quote:
I am aware, it has to do with the angle the model is looking at because i switch a few things around. Ill get that fixed. But thanks. The Rider Also has a few other minor issues, i hope to be able to work out soon. |

Something that would be cool is if you expand theme park mode, like a smalelr RCT. |

whats rct? I never played a roller coaster game my self. But to be more clear the theme park mode (thats not in current version) is planed to have one park, where people come to ride coasters. and little boys like coasters that go fast, and little girls like coasters that go slow ect. Before the people are let into the park you will get 5-10 min to build your coaster, and then they will ride the rides they consider most fun for them. So lets say there are 30 little boys and 70 little girls for a day. I might want to build for little boys because everyone else will be trying to get the little girls. Anyway you get the idea. I hope to have about 5-6 different type of people, and then each of them be a little be diverse by chance. If this is unclear you will see when i get there. But i am interested in what you were saying. I don't quite understand what you meant. |

RCT = Roller Coaster Tycoon. By the way, the mode you explained sounds awesome, but needs heavy ass coding and debugging (imagine having to mvoe all the riders around theme park, what they would do if there were no roller coasters, how they would show + points, etc.). |
