Stone Wall Complication

Hey everyone, long long, long time creeper, first time poster. I just needed some help with a spell that won one of the spell sessions. I would contact the creator but his last activity was in 2006.

Regardless, the spell is Stone Wall (http://wc3campaigns.net/showthread.p...257#post807257)

The spell works flawlessly, but when I use it in a map with 350+(maybe even less) doodads it lags a lot when raising/dropping the terrain. Remove the doodads, and its smooth again.

Why are just a couple hundred doodads (rocks,shrubs and trees) making it lag?

I am unable to inspect the spell code at the moment but it's quite possible that the spell code is simply too slow and once you add enough other stuff to your map, even if just some destructables, it hits the lag threshold. It's possible that a modern version of the spell wouldn't lag; however, it's also possible that some things the spell does like the terrain deformations just can't be made lag-free.
