Description:
Cyber Priest is a hero in a map DDay: Judgement. Since we are remaking the map, I also made this skin for Cyber Priest in DDay: Revolution (that's why it is called Cyber Priest: Revolution).

Skin replaces Blood Priest.
v2 redone forehead, added scratches to the metal :)

Give credits if you use it somewhere.

The details on his head won't be visible with any shred of compression -- even in the portrait model. The little lettering on the microprocessor that says Up is cute, but again, senseless detail. The cape is cool, the shoulders seem random, and his torso's anatomy is a bit off, but only in that it emulates a human's torso in strange ways. (The muscles really aren't packed like that)

The quality is pretty good, though. Nice job there.

It is "CP" as Cyber Priest hihi. It took me two weeks to make it, because I was lazy and annoyed with having no inspiration.
I know that it hasn't perfect anatomy on it's torso. After all it is a machine :)))

Like Dusk said, the minute details (like the "motherboard" effect on his helm) won't stand out after any sort of compression, and definitely not in-game except in very close camera shots. While the skin is beautiful unwrapped and up-close, in game those tiny details are lost. A shame, but true.

Honestly I was making it as an image I knew that most of those details won't be visible in a map but... I wanted to :) Also I pay attention to make it also to look good on wrap. As you can see I alpha out the book (or whatever it is) in his right hand (his right hand :) )

Mc !
Bah, who cares if details won't be seen, any skinner knows that ever since they see their skin ingame, but that doesn't stop many of them, because it is fun to detail.

I don't really think the torso fits the idea, would rather have a completely metallic torso or something more than blue muscles, or use the other colors from the skin on the torso so it doesn't look all blue.

The cape is great though.

I had to check this ingame before making any comments. The quality of the
texture is good, but the smaller details simply disappear ingame. Also, the
inside of his mouth has been alpha'd out, which looks bad on the portrait.

As has been said, the resolution and detail level mean that if anyone changes
the filesize or resolution of this texture, it will most likely end up a blurry
mess. Since you're making this for a multiplayer map, it will most likely need to
be compressed to save space. From what Dusk and I have learned, having to
shrink the physical size of a high-resolution texture and then compress it
plays havoc with the details, something I'm concerned may happen here.

Fortunately, a lot of the quality of the skin holds at ingame level, largely due
to the great contrast you have with the gold and silver. The spheres (?) on
his knees however, are too close to the colour of the surrounding metal and
are somewhat lost ingame. The contrast is what is going to make or break this
texture - try to work in more of the gold to break up the silver.

In addition, the updated texture submission rules require a 256x256 version of
the skin.

So yeah, it would definitely benefit from some more gold and you need to
submit a 256x256 version as well. You need to watch how it looks ingame,
since that's where it's going to end up (doubly true since you're making it for
a project). Be mindful of how compression and resolution changes affect the
texture and compensate by changing colours to improve contrast.

First pot is updated. 256x256, darker blue on knee-ball, texture image also in 256x256

what should I make so someone can improve something from my creations on this site :)?
There are a lot of worse skins among approved skins. About contrast, Denu's skin is one of the best skins (textured Illidan in metamorphose) and it is all in one color, there is no contrast :)

His mouth is still alpha'd out, is this intentional?
Personally I don't like the way the shoulders have been alpha'd, it doesn't match the texture underneath and just blurs ingame anyway.

Looks fine otherwise.

The details are really good, but they are completely lost when looking at the actual unit, furhter more from a distance the majority of greyish silver makes it look awefully bland apart from a few armour pieces that don't really fit in. at the moment I don't deem this approveworthy, simply because some parts are not in harmony with other parts.

Anyways, because this hasn't been updated, I'll go ahead and move it over to WIP textures. If this is updated at a later point in time, PM me to move it back.

I've edited the first post. Personally I don't like, I like more previous version, but you said more gold color :D

The chest looks really boring, and very monotone when looked in the ingame view. You could also add something in the forehead, like a gem or whatever, that part looks really plain too, and is a very important part.
And maybe is just me, but I think the clothes are a bit too random, and don´t fit with the whole robot thing. Just my two cents.

I didn't know how to make his cloak because it was done in 512x512 resolution and it was big. So I've decided to mixed colors in order not to be monotone (mix of gold and silver).
About gem on his forehead, in previous version his forehead was silver and it had circuit from motherboard there, but it was too detailed so I did something more simple which destroyed part of the skin :D If I draw a gem on it I think it will be badly wraped
