WT 94 - The House

Almost there. They could see their destination in the valley in front of them, a narrow road was winding through thick undergrowth towards the house that they've been searching for so long now. Rampant weeds were literally breaking through the cobblestones of a road that will completetely dissapear under a wall of green soon. The house, however, appeared to be untouched by its surrounding, as if the plants decided to keep a safe distance from it. Its form changed every time they looked at it, their heads started to hurt because their eyes couldn't agree with each other. Only the color of the black wood, that absorbed almost all the light around the house stayed the same. Yes, almost there.

Basically it's about a single house in a fitting (or affecting the) environment. There can be multiple houses, but the focus needs to be on a single house.

The foreground looks good besides the tall rocks, but the background could use some work. The fog should be in a darker blue so it fits better to the sky and the night time. And it needs a lot more trees, especially smaller trees farer away.

I really like the house, turned out great. I think it would be cool if it was a lot farer above the ground. You know, raise it a bit and choose a more horizontal camera angle so you can't see the ground.
Just the house hanging on a cliffside with a huge waterfall besides it.

I'd rather post the WTs at the beginning of the week so you guys have the entire sunday to finsh the entries. So expect the new WT on the 9th or the 10th.

I never really show any of my terrain or done a weekly terrain since I rarely terrain at all so sorry if my stuff doesn't fit the OP, but this kind of fits the house theme that I have been working on this week. The building is about half finished so a few rooms are empty.

What's with the green haze? It shouldn't be green, IMO. Otherwise, excellent.

EDIT: Oh, I see, Post-Apocalyptic Zombie Bar, eh?

id like to add a few more, finished the 2 empty rooms and added a patio outside the last room with a barricaded door blocking it. penguin, yep your pretty close, its a tavern players will fight waves of undead in the time frame of the plague that infected the towns in Lordaeron etc.
