Ok, I'm working with a new set of abilities for the Brutal Lord, with more eyecandy.... This one works nice, but in order to have a fluent change of animation I'm carrying with downsides, like using EVENT_SPELL_CAST which makes the spell easy to avoid mana cost. Definitely this event is making me get crazy!!!! The current bug is the following... when I cast it over itself... is simply relol. Please enjoy my frustration with our never ending jumping Brutal Lord. The problem is basically that when the Brutal Lord smash the ground, a dummy cast the dummy ability adding the dizziness buff (dummy ability based on ThunderClap) and then knockbacking the units away from the brutal Lord. Question: should I set the mana cost via triggers in order to keep the current trigger event? EVENT_UNIT_SPELL_EFFECT makse look the spell ugly like hell. Facts: * the unit is not paused so it can use the animation properly * I use Blizzard as spell base, because it let me control the animation. |

Actually, i put this models in my map, remaked some of animation names, 1st ability is hurl boulder, 2nd is posion breath: Behemoth produces posion breath that deals posion damage to the ground enemies within a fan-shaped area originating from the Behemoth. Whenever unit enters posion cloud if will start to take damage per second for 10 seconds. Also units that walks inside cloud will get their movement speed reduced by 60%. It creates posion in line area in front of Hero with "spell" animation(posion breath). 3rd spell is based on roar: Gives Behemoth a bonus to hit point regeneration and boosts attack damage and armor by 2. |nLasts <A03J,Dur1> seconds. It creates fire on the head of Hero as a buff. Look pretty cool, like a pit demon from HoMM5. Last spell is called Tremble: Behemoth starts to smash the ground making it tremble sending waves around him causing 65 damage per smash to nearby enemy units. It smashes ground 13 times(or casting it for 15 seconds;you can interupt it if ya want) ripping ground and sending waves dealing damage per wave. (Like your jump animation but its channeling instead). Hope i helped with ideas, and you can make you jump ability unable to cast in close range. |

Ou i got it like moyack needs idea for new spell that will replace jumping :D so i gave him few idea and then he can create his own ideas based or ideas i gave to him :D. hehe But sry, i was just trying to help :) . Anyway i playd PoC so i know... looking foward to see new BL spells. :) LoL his Sig... i never asked him anything, he can read and not to talk :D . |
