He's not fuzzy. That was just to lull you in :D This is for a Hive skinning comp. The theme being ... Archimonde. I still need some ideas for his legs. I was initially going to continue the armour design to completely cover his legs, but thought that would be a tad repetitive. |

He looks cool, but lacks a lot of lighter colors. Outside of the glowy areas, he doesn't have any lighting playing across his features, which looks strange. Additionally, I honestly have no clue what he's supposed to be, if anything at all. He just looks like a green dude with brown armor and glowy stones around him. Maybe that's it. :p I think going with some brighter color over his loin cloth and cape would be awesome. It needs some kind of contrast with the rest of the texture, otherwise it'll blur into a single-colored blob in-game. I also think some runic symbols on the bottom of his cape and loin cloth could be cool. For the legs, I think the only way to preserve the coherence of the texture is to armor the lower part and have flesh on the upper thighs. If you're worried about variance, take advantage of the loin cloth and cape and it should work itself out. I like the anatomy and style you've got, though, it looks good. :) |

Since i'm not so good at pointing out most stuff. What really is weird though, shouldn't the tail armor go all the way up? Since it's just randomly attached to the end of the tail. -Av3n |

Dusk, that's exactly the idea I had. Namely, no idea. :P Runes seem to be the way to go. Cheerio! Av3n, the tail armour would have covered the whole thing, except the tail texture's also on his mustache thing. I didn't want bronze tendrils sprouting from his head >_> |

Just make sure that when you lighten up the flesh areas, that you actually don't just lighten the whole thing. If you lighten the whole thing, you don't achieve anything in terms of shading. It needs a more developed series of shadows playing across it. See what I mean? |
