Before I go into too much detail, I'd like to state clearly that this map is still in beta form. Any suggestions, comments, or feedback posted here would be greatly appreciated. I'm fairly new to map making, so don't be too harsh with the critiquing is all I ask.

The Setting - Old Ruins amidst a maze of trees.

In this game you and your fellow team members will select heroes to go about the maze, killing enemy heroes. When your team has collected 20 kills, you win the game. Your team can decide capture flags(3) spread out in the map, and return them to your base for a gold reward.

- 2 Teams
- 6v6
- Full House recommended
- 12 Custom Heroes (more to be added), Not every single one is unique, and never thought of before, but each one has their own little twist that makes them a bit special.
- In the quest menu there are tips on how to play the game, and what the objective is
- Typing -repick lets you select a new hero, but you lose previously gained items, and the level of your last hero.
- Hero ideas have been given to me by ZeroTheWyrm
- People who help test the map on a constant basis are added into the credits of the game
- This map is protected

Uploaded a new version today - includes 1 new hero, some changes to the layout of the maze, and changes to items bought at the shop.

Well, a quick review.

There wasnt anything really special about this that defines it from other hero arena's. The maze although it made the game more than just "sit in an arena and chop" like other arena's theres wasnt anything unique or special about it.

Most of the skills were mundane and pretty random (I was playing Druid).

Here a re somethings to note....
- The skills should have at least some synergy not neccesarily comboing but heroes shoud at least have a role no matter how vague..

Although I'll admit that the skills heroes have aren't the most creative, every single hero does have a role to play. The druid is a very great support class, with his root and heal abilities. Usually, whether or not having a druid on your team can sometimes win or lose a game for you. The arena is a team based game, not really buitl for 1v1 encounters, but rather team gameplay.

It's been awhile since I've played other Hero Arena's, but I haven't seen much with a seperate CTF mechanic that rewards the whole team for capturing.

I really do appreciate your feedback, though.

In this new uploaded version-
-Removed the imported music file until the Gold version of the map
-Added 1 new hero
-Various fixes and changes

Do you want me to move this to beta test, or do you want me to review it and make you cry like a little girl?

Yeah, this really is not going to get approved. I mean, I played as a hero called the "Druidic Druid of Druidness." Not only were all of my skills random blizzard skills, but gold randomly spawned across the map, there were dark trolls everywhere that did nothing but waste time, the flags added nothing to the gameplay, and it was just outright boring.

Sorry, but moved to map testing. This needs loads of work before it can be considered for approval.
Good luck!

Well, if you made me cry like a little girl.. that'd be quite a sight to see. If you have any feedback for me thats not repeating what Rising_Dusk has given me, than I welcome you to post it.

And thanks for your feedback, Rising_Dusk. I was wondering how many people you played the map with? When I get a full house on battle net, the fights seem to get pretty interesting. I agree, the Druid's skills could be more flashy and customy, but theres nothing wrong [in my opinion] with sticking to some basics.

The flags around the map add to the gameplay very much. Instead of players wandering around the map aimlessly, they actually have points they can focus on, which creates battles. The flags, when captured, gives everyone on the capturing team gold, which creates incentive to go and capture them.

The trolls found randomly throughout the beginning is just to speed some levels up in the beginning of the game, and get some gold pieces into the pockets of players.

Gold coins randomly spawning throughout the map may be removed, Again, I thought it'd add incentive to go out and look for them, and be rewarded for wandering around the map.

Thanks again for the feedback.
