Editing on Mac

If I made a map on a windows system and then edited it on a Mac, will that cause any issues?

Ive heard somewhere that it can cause certain objects to be non visible to windows users.

Depends on what you do/did.

Don't use terrain deformations ( And / Or spells like war stomp with premade terrain deformations ) and GetLocationZ together

...and that's completely unrelated to what OS you're running the WE in.

I have no idea what problems might arise, but I'm sure that it's possible that some may occur. If anything funky starts happening, post about it or something.

Well I was saying that, because if you're mapping on a mac and do that, then host, people on windows will get desynced and vice versa, which I'm sure you know.

Everybody who can't see the deformation gets desynced from those who can; it has nothing to do with the OS.

Hmm, I just ran a search and apparently it doesn't have anything to do with operating system, it's if your spell detail level is on low or not. If it is on low, spells such as war stomp, thunder clap will not play terrain deformations, causing possible desyncs in use with GetLocationZ()

It seems I was misinformed ;o
( I heard that macs player terrain deformations differently, causing desyncs with GetLocationZ())

I've heard that UnitDamageLoc or something similar crashes Macs.

Yes, but they're silly to use anyway.

Grim001's object system disconnects Mac but he does not know why... if this relates to anything...
