Choppy Animations

Lately, on a specific map, all hero animations are very choppy with no transition. He runs, looks fine, as he stops, it just... stops, no animation transition, he goes from walking to standing... it looks terrible..

Maybe you have their unit animation speeds set to 0.

The units are not custom, nor are the models... is this a misinterpretation or do i really need to change something so fundamental?

I mean unit animation speed (SetUnitAnimationSpeed()).

Walking animation playing is not affected by it; other animations, however, as spell, stand, and attack, are.

So, it could be that your units' have their respective animation speeds set to 0.00, that they perform their walk animations as they walk but not their other animations - those that are played as they are static. The interpretation you gave of your problem implies this: because they move fine but they stop abruptly and do not move for other animations.

edit: nm. I just read your first post again. As Litany said, blend time may be the problem.

Adjust the 'Art - Blend Time' field in the Object Editor of each unit. 'Blend Time' is the amount of time it takes for a unit to switch between animations; if it is 0.00, animation will be switched instantly, and no there will be no smooth transition between initial and final animations.
