The spell happens, the affects happens, the unit loses its life, but the mana does not get returned....?

Ive set the "keep unit alive" field to true... if this is why it isnt working, im going to be... frustrated...

It probably is. Just trigger the silly spell, it's pretty easy to do.

Yes, this appears to not work as intended. I tried modifying it, too, and it just doesn't work.
