For some reason, this penguin model does not like me. If someone could please help me, that would be much appreciated! Whenever I try to modify the Stand - 3 animation into an attack animation (looks like he swirls around), the model acts up. I attached it so you may see what exactly I am talking about. Whenever he attacks ingame, he has the portrait backdrop appear behind him as well as the unit's corpse and water graphic. Please, help me figure out why this is happening! |

Yuck, yuck, yuck. It sounds like the GeosetAnimIds in the bones; that's usually where this sort of madness comes from. Go through each bone, and set GeosetAnimId to "None", see if that helps. |

Wouldn't that affect the other animations (for instance, it would share the same animation and animation frames as the Stand 3 Animation)? Wouldn't modifying those bones affect Stand 3 at least? |

No. These tags... Well, nobody's quite sure what purpose they serve. GeosetAnims go by their GeosetId field, which will remain as it should have been. Worst case if you'll have to shove a few keys in there, but I don't think that should be necessary. The bottom line is, I've had this problem before, and that's how I solved it. Thank Blizzard for putting redundant nonsense that only causes trouble into their MDLs! :D |

I cheated. I just renamed the Stand -3 into the Attack animation and deleted its copy. No more problems, even if he only has 3 stand animations. |

Bah, you were duplicating it all along. Then the answer was to just add more keyframes to the GeosetAnims after all! |

Like I'd know what that means... It's okay, the Penguins love you. |
