As some might know, I'm currently working on a project along with SFilip, that adds new functionality to war3, in form of new natives, and the latest thing we're working is a set of natives, to return the ingame mouse position, that is, the point the mouse is pointing at on the terrain. To do that, we're using a memory search, to look for a specific pattern, and in order to make sure that pattern works, i'm looking for some testers. What you need to do is to download the zip attached to the thread, extract the files anywhere you'd like, then start war3, load up a map, and then run the files "search one" and "search all", and then post the results here, along with what OS you're using. Also included is a "memshow", that will output the mouse coords actively, to confirm the location is working. EDIT: Added search size, if you could post your results from that one too, it would be great. |

Do you want ALL the "results" ...including the "progress: ...." stuff or only the message which is displayed at the end ?

1.22 WINE 1.1.14 they don't find anything. There are some addresses in which the program freezes my computer for about 30 seconds while consuming all my memory, then they go on. |
