Units\Demon\Warlock\Archemonde.blp Made for the Hive's texturing comp #12. Um. Draenei-fied Archimonde? :3 The armour design was inspired by Aztecs, and one freaking awesome Spellbreaker skin I saw here. I was trying to copy how it had these individual bands of armour with awesome contrast and stuff, but I couldn't pull it off :( Cheers to Anemic Royalty and Rising_Dusk for pointing out failures in the design, the original swirly armour would make many cry. |

Can't really see it that much from the screenshot. Add some posed shots. The portrait looks awesome though! |

It did turn out fairly good, though. I'm still not a huge fan of how there seems to be some kind of ambient light that lights him up absolutely everywhere, since well, there isn't. Oh well, though, it's still really good stuff. I'll let AR do his moderation thingy, though, so I won't touch it. :p Oh, also, you still have some serious musculature problems in the legs. His muscles wrap around his leg, rather than run down the leg. That's problematic. Additionally, let me reiterate that you've got lighting issues; he's too bright everywhere fleshy. There should be some darker spots under the chest armor around the torso, for instance, since it's being covered up in part by the armor itself. These are kind of minute nitpicks, but I wouldn't be giving a good critique if I didn't point 'em out. :) |

Right! *puts special Moderating Hat on* Tried it out ingame, looks great. The details hold up well, the chest is quite nice and the glowyhax eyes are just classic. You've got a good balance of contrast and colouring which helps it stay visible. No real crits here, just as Dusk says watch your lighting in the future. WC3 textures have top-down lighting, but on yours the light seems to be coming from everywhere. This could be for effect I suppose if he's meant to be all glowy, but for other textures take lighting more into consideration. The lips seem a little underdetailed, but that's fine for this model. All in all though, well done :) ~Approved. |

Oh yeah, i liked this one a lot. And i still do. The glowy effect turns out nice whereas the texture on the thigh appears a bit oblique. |
