Brainstormers & beta-testers needed..

Greetings everyone! I am inviting you to help me in my current project which is near in completion. The project is an AoS and is nearing completion(maybe in a few weeks or so), all that's needed left to complete are the first 12 heroes and the map's items. And also some nifty features would be added in the future.

Here's some screenshots as some-kind-of-proof of development completion a.k.a 2 pretty spells and 2 pretty pics:

It's still on a semi-placeholder name, Fables of Everfrost. To give out more info:

Planned Features:
- A fun and very entertaining gameplay that'll keep both newbies and experienced players alike coming back for more.
- 6v6 (Not much of a feature but I figure I should mention this)
- Different heroes each with their own epic and unique gameplay, strategy and character guaranteed to be enjoyable.
- Well balanced
- <That's all for now, more would be added in the future>

Generally the goal is to make an AoS which is as entertaining and fun to play as possible with great replayability. This will be different from other AoSes in the sense that the players will really enjoy every game they play, no matter if they won or lost and will make them want to play again while not getting players too fond/used to it. I think this has been done before but usually there are things that draw away from the map's gameplay, like a hard learning curve, boring heroes, imbalance, lack of replayability, etc,. I want this project to be very fun so as to be revolutionary enjoyable.

I am an experienced mapper and coder, and currently, I need brainstormers, decent ones , and some beta-testers for private testing in the near future. Please PM me or reply in this thread if you are interested. Thanks for dropping by ;)

You've not *actually* said anything beyond that it's a 6v6 AoS.

It's not yet that complete to have said anything else beside that.

Then it cannot be 60-70% complete? It can't even be really above 10% complete based on that information.

Well I use a different criteria than yours, so it might be like 5% to you and 60% to me.

EDIT: Okay, I removed the completion % estimation to prevent confusion and misunderstanding. I can assure you it's around halfway done though.

Is it just me or this really look a bit too much like Adventh of the Zenith?

A map cannot be so enjoyable that it's revolutionary. It seems to me that you really don't have anything to set this apart from other AoS maps and are banking on the hope that it'll be fun enough to keep (and then hold) an audience. You should be careful with that.

I'll try any new AoS at least once. If you need help testing, send me a PM or something whenever you get there. If you want ideas, it's generally more useful to post your current ideas in 'General Development' and people will respond and critique those there.

Every snow AoS reminds me of AotZ these days. xD

Snowy terrain and panda merchants.
But I really don't compare maps just because of the tilesets. After all, there are like 12, so it would be quite unfair.

I would like to help in testing, if you need. These days I'll play any aos except, well, you know... Just let me know.
Also, more information would be valuable, like hero level, number of abilities, fractions fighting, overview of the map, ect...

Well this was my first goal, and yes it is very delicate. But in time, I'll be able to whip up an innovation or two and finally set it apart from other AoSes ;)

I can't lie, the upper part of the map was inspired by AotZ x) Other than that, there's no similarities to AotZ besides the tileset.

Okay, I'll be sure to do those. Thanks for the tip!

I'd like to wish you luck with your AoS and hope it doesn't end up like some other forgotten maps on the forums.

The beastmaster guy looks pretty cool, is he some sort of sound hero lol? It looks like he's making some super sonic wave to explode everyone's ears.
