Greetings! I am here to encourage you to help me come up with hero ideas that I may use for my upcoming AoS project. I will accept any hero idea, complete or incomplete, or even just a spell idea, in this thread as it is a brainstorm thread but the spells must follow the spell critera only if possible: Spells must: - Utilize and work with buffs/debuffs (explained below) - Must be synergetic with the hero's other spells - Must be related to the hero's theme and role Buffs/Debuffs - Increased/Decreased Attack Miss (Chance to miss on an attack) - Increased/Decreased Attack Evasion - Increased/Decreased Attack Critical - Increased/Decreased Spell Miss (Chance to miss on spell damage) - Increased/Decreased Spell Evasion - Increased/Decreased Spell Critical - Increased/Decreased Spell Power (Spell power increases spell damage AND spells themselves, such as their duration, duration of buffs/debuffs which are in this list) - Increased/Decreased Spell Reflection (Spells and spell damage are able to be reflected back to the caster) - Increased/Decreased Spell Resistance - Increased/Decreased Agi/Str/Int - Increased/Decreased Armor, Damage, Attack Speed, Move Speed, Max life, Max mana - Increased/Decreased Life regen, mana regen example: Acid Bomb - Deals 50 damage to a target enemy unit and increases its chance to miss on attacks by 50%, on spells by 75%, reduces spell power by 50% and movement speed by 50% That was just an example to show what should an ability be able to do, it is not recommended for an ability to have more than 3 effects. 2 effects are preferred, i.e deals 100 damage and slows Hero ideas, preferably, should meet the following criteria if possible: - Hero name and proper name - Model used - Role served (e.g tank, nuker, support) - 3 basic skills and 1 ultimate - Skills are encouraged to synergize and should be suited to whatever role the hero serves. Quite a storm you have going on here; 5+ days and nothing yet. Here is a hero I have but am yet to implement: Omen, the Doombringer (yes, Doombringer concept taken from DotA; but the jhero works differently) chase/overwhelm hero Doomguard model; Metamorphosis Demon Hunter sound set; Doomguard Icon (duh); Abilities: 1) Magistrate of Damnation - summons some demon that follows the Doombringer around and - mah bitchz-like. This demon attacks only the lowest-hp unit within X range of the doombringer. So, stragglers, fleeing units, and unfortunate fools are damned. good demon models: blue felhound red felhound blue felguard red felguard NOT succubi 2) Howl of Terror - works like standard ladder spell, but armor debuff is much more greatly increased, and the attack damage debuff, diminished in proportion to the former. 3) Hell March; When issued a move/attack/smart order to an enemy unit, the Doombringer and his nearby allies and bitchz gain a significant movement speed bonus; maybe you can make their path all 'burny' too. 4) Doom (ultimate). casted like Blizzard. Target is an AoE and the Doombringer channels it. As it is channeled, a GREAT GREAT GREAT amount of demon units wil lregularly spawn at the periphery of the area and charge towards its center, overwhelming enemy forces inside. Thus, they are 'doomed'; and it is like, "oh fuck, were never gonna get out of this". note that the spawned demons completely surround the AoE. |
