I am an administrator of a Warcraft 3 Scenario tournament for a game called Sheep Tag. Sheep Tag is an extremely fast paced game in which players can get a huge disadvantage from the opposing team Saving the game; saving the game causes players to not be able to make actions and can cause some players lag for an extended period of time. The tournament board and I have decided to penalize the team that saved during a game. However, because of lwarcraft3's limitations, we are unable to determine the player whom saved through triggers. My question is: Is there a tool that can reveal a save event in a replay or through some other mechanism? Replies are greatly appreciated. |

http://www.bwchart.com/us/w3changes.php Download w3chart from the little bar on the side. It can read the entire list of player actions from a replay, including opening and closing the Options menu. The function of saving the game is not defined specifically, but it will be between opening and closing the Options menu and have a code name like [06] or [07]. Of course, you'd have to scroll (or search) through the entire list of player actions to figure it out, but it's in there. |

thank you very much. I have a follow-up question: Is it possible to determine, with this w3chart, if a player was kicked, disconnected, or left a game? Also, I have a copy of w3chart on my machine at home (I'm at work now), and I was wondering if you knew of any changes made. The last time I used the tool, it was not compatible with w3 1.12 |
