Am I the only one who is experiencing the following issue? I've noticed this primarily with heroes, but it applies to some units too. I give, say, a Firelord the Paladin soundset. He says Paladin stuff normally. But when he dies, he plays the Firelord sound. This happens with any hero I've used and many units I've tried to use. Am I the only one with this problem, and is there a fix? I suppose I could try model-file editing (changing the on-death sound path, if such a thing exists)... If someone's willing to instruct me. Thanks. |

hmm i dunno...just opened some MDL files ...and checked them out ... I think the "EventObject"s are related to that sound stuff ...(dunno excactly ...but i havent seen anything else what could ve been sound related) But since a model like the palading has like 15 of them ...and they all got strange names ...i dont know how to find the death sound among them... |

Death attack and all other sonds comes from model, not from sound set. |

Bah, that's annoying. I guess I was mislead, since a lot of soundsets have the attack and death sounds included in them. |

probably so u can play it with triggers and just listen to it repeatedly |

An easy way to check to see which models have the death sound attached would be to create a unit with the model but a different soundset in the OE, place one in the WE and then delete it with the Gem on. |
