Made in Fireworks CS3 a while ago. You have to import the skin to two paths: units\Human\BloodElfDragonHawk\BloodElfDragonhawk.blp and units\Human\BloodElfDragonHawk\Dragonhawk.blp ...this thing has the worst uv map ever. |

being one of them. The bird's head and the rider's face are atrocious to work with :P It's 11:15pm here and I need sleep, I'll write up my thoughts in the morning. Suffice to say, the concept and overall effect are fine, but the composition and execution need some work. |

Well, I did it for practice anyway. And I doubt anyone will use it, you need to import two 400kb textures :P |

It's rather blurry across the board, uses many similar color tones that make the thing blur together further, and then really lacks on concept. Lots of the armor seems very random in its design. Additionally, the shading you use across the board lacks in a lot of ways - particularly shading through with flesh tones and colors as opposed to whites. You also use splotchy dabs of color, whereas you should work in brushstrokes; this will help in creating smooth transitions. (TDR has a video tutorial in the skin tutorial area on how to do this, I recommend watching it) I think it could use a bunch of work as mentioned above, but it's a good start for sure. Keep working at it! |

It's got a good layout. |

Might be, but the execution isn't that good. |

Well I'll go ahead and move this to the WIP texture forum. If you're willing to work on it in the future, consider AR and my comments. |
