Not tested, but I stumbled upon something from a really old post. Notice when you play a map a lastreplay file appears. If you at map init do the action "Set campaign to ____" that file _doesn't_ appear. You may also have to make it so it doesn't show scores at victory, not sure. Can someone test this to see if it really works? Cuz if so it'll solve tons of lag problems. |

Guest | I'd be really interested in this if it worked. Would potentially solve a ton of probelms for me. Can you do this in single maps? Sorry, I'm konfuzed :). What do you mean by 'set campaign to _____'? What is ________? |

I think he's talking about Event: Game --> Set campaign to (Human/Orc/etc. Campaign) what does this do normally, by the way? fr0ggE |

Guest | I don't uderstand why this would help. The replay feature is inherently built into WC3. Even if you don't show the end game screens, WC3 still saves the data in memory, and the filegame (if you save before end game), because only at the end game does the program know whether or not the player wants a replay. Is there an option in campaign maps to replay game at the end of an individual map? Because if not, then that's the only way I think this may help. |

If you use the set campaign action the replay button doesn't appear. So perhaps the reason the button doesn't show up is because there isn't any replay data to be saved. |

Guest | Then, this could be great news. Can you use this on single player maps? |

yeah i just tested this out by playing the orc introductory campaign --> there wasn't a replay at the end. fr0ggE EDIT: well, seeing as how the Campaigns *are* single player maps, I'd imagine so. The question i think would more be can you use this on battlenet |

froggie did you delete the 'lastreplay.w3g' file before playing your game? then right after you play check if its there and its filesize ... no replay button doesnt necessarily mean no replay but maybe =) |
