His legs look rather short in the preview image. Also, shouldn't the quiver be facing right? Other than that, he's awesome. |

I realize that it's up to artistic interpretation, but I really like the way the WC2 archer looks more. Seems more condensed and less... Green. Speaking of that green, you've got it everywhere and in significant quantities. I'd recommend toning that down and giving him some like, different colored pants. Go check out the Sylvanas texture, notice how she isn't wearing all green. There's a reason for that. Brown pants can work, fits nicely with the whole studded leather thing of the shoulders. It'd probably also look better if the boots were the same style as the studded leather, then they wouldn't seem random. The folds on the cloak also seem unnatural, you should probably retexture them to look a bit better, check some references, you'll see what I mean. Also, proportions. His feet are a bit small for a WC3 unit and the texture makes his knees unpronounced so they feel a bit lower than they are. The actual positioning of the joint is fine, though. This is why many WC3 units use knee-high boots, in general it works to make proportions smooth there. Oh, and do give him some arrows in that quiver. It'll fill out the model more and look much better next to units like the NE/HE archers in-game. I'm also not a fan of the way the face looks. I mean, it's good and all, but it just looks too chiseled and unlike anything an elf would actually be. It totally doesn't fit the style of any of the WC units with his thick head and extreme shading. Even the archer icon from WC2 was a lot smoother and thinner in the head. (I can't find a google image of it right now, but I'm sure it's there) Just my thoughts, anyways. Overall a good job, though, as usual! :) |

I'd actually say that the chest shouldn't be green. Instead he should have some leather armor there in my oppinion. The green pants are actually just like in the sprite. ^^ Oh, and here is a ingame screenshot which has the Archer Icon. By the way, AnemicRoyalty, will you make a Ranger version, too? |

Yes, the sprite looked the same, but they had a different icon in WC2... Yet, this is WC3 where (a few) visual upgrades exist! :P The wc2 ranger upgrade is a lot like the Headhunter->Berserker upgrade, so making a seperate Ranger version would fit very well. |

I didn't say he shouldn't do it, silly, only that it didn't look any different in WC2. |

Looks good. The back does go trough the cloak in some anims, though. *cries*. PERFECT for my project, thanks a lot. -- Also, green eyes for a High Elf, blue eyes, plx. |

This is such a shitty model. My little brother could take a shit and it would look more like an archer than this. Rofl I'm joking. Nice. He could use a little more of that Warcraft III feel though. I'd give you plus rep but it says I've been far too generous in the past 24 hours. Then it said I was awesome. |
