The Rivals!

Well, I thought up some funny stuff for my little mini AoS and I wanted to add some generic rivals so...

I decided to reskin the blademaster into a night elf :p and reskin the demon hunter into an orc!

-----

I have attached a WIP of the blademaster, I'd attach screenshots but my WC viewer crashes when I try to view the model or the portrait...

-----

Hope you guys will like the outcome, some tips would be great! I think I've degraded a lot but It's not like I was amazing before.

-----

I noticed the giant file size. I assume it's because it's in the TGA format but I'll reduce it eventually. Note that I didn't apply any filters like Sharpen and such. Also note that I use dodge/burn x x. I tried learning no smudge and blending techniques and I have one of those disasters on hand...

It's good, but your shading is very very harsh. You have mostly shadows and highlights..and thats it. You need the tones in between the two also in that skin

Thanks THE_END! I'll take that into account and I've been wondering why it look so shiny/dark but I guess I should have plugged in my brain to the equation.

I'll begin the Orcish Demon Hunter and I'll remake the face of the blade master as I finish it up.

[edit, well. Since it's just terrible of me to use the dreaded dodge/burn, I remade the face as soon I posted this 30 minutes ago so... I totally remade the face with no smudge. I am extremely proud of the the outcome but then again... You guys do this without even trying.]

Heya Crayon <3 (that is you, right? It says so in your sig :P)
Good work leaving the dirty dodge and the big bad burn behind, it looks pretty clean and well defined so far. I'd like to see it wrapped though (since that's what matters in the end).

Here's the actual UV that the model uses, helps to line things up :)

lol Thanks AR! I really needed something like that :D. Imma take care of somethings and I'll see what I can do with the rest of the skin.

I am Crayon xD. Dat is true.

[Edit; Not much comments since I last posted. The night elf blademaster is pretty much complete. If you've got any aesthetic suggestions, let me know. That includes the name! Dakobo lol...]

Also, I did not touch the black pupils, adds that cartoony effect to his eyes I need for my aos however, when he blinks, it looks horrid. If someone could tell me how rid myself of this deadly blink it'd be awesome!

Another note is the sword on the flag banner the blade master has is now a muslim like moon(Of which I should probably redraw). It's black just so you know and I could make it purple but I'd prefer not xD.

Well, I've already updated the Blademaster in the above post. I really didn't want to double post so shame on me if you guys find it a atrocious but since I'm only editing, no one really looks over the thread thinking I haven't done much yet.

I've started the Orc Demon Hunter and the face, hair, arm bands, and some of the TC areas are done. Probably going to remove that black line below his eye. It looks like he's got 4 eyes or a giant sag below his eyelid.
