Hi everybody... I have a great idea, perhaps a little stupid or pretentious, but I think that Warcraft gammers have to ask Blizzard an important request. We have to make it expand Multiplayers Maximun Map Size, because It's really necessary for a lot of map makers have a bigger size. The 4 MB aren't large enought to whatever they want, and that's why I think WE HAVE TO MAKE BLIZZARD CHANGE IT BY A PATCH. If you agree with me, so vote for yes in the poll. After a month, if more than 60% of the voters have decided to help me in this request, I'm going to make it. |

This reminds me of a silly protest against immigration legislation where a bunch of mexicans cut class and stood outside my highschool a few years ago and just stood there yelling. The highschool has no ability to change anything, and all they care is that the kids go to class so they get their money. Wrong place dude. Go to the Blizzard forums. We can't change anything. |

Hahahaha. This is such the wrong place to put this (both in-site and the fact that we aren't Blizzard). It's also way too late to give a shit. If Blizzard wanted to do this, they would have done it in '04 when Wc3 was a rising dawn. It's a bit late now. Besides, Wc3 has way too many other problems that should have been fixed years ago. Eg: The atrocity that is GUI; the faulty WE, the shitty syntax checker (although JNGP renders this null), the poorly made JASS... Oh, and honestly, I LIKE the cap. It keep people from: A: Abusing the fuck out of imports and putting assloads of models/icons/sounds/music/etc. B: Making maps that take way too long to download that really shouldn't. Besides, I've seen AMAZING maps created well within that 4mb limit. Icons, models, skins, sounds, you name it. |

I'm really disappointmented of the people that say "We can't change anything".. that's don't have any sense of how to be a person, and have to "fight" by the things that you believe. And, darkwulfv, you are reaaaaalllly wrong. The LIMITS have to exist, but 4 MB is a short limit, and the maps that you say are good, it would be even better if the map creators wouldn't have that limitation. I think if from 4 we grow to 40, a lot of incredibles map would be created. That's what I think. |

40. Surely you jest... |

map size != map quality As others have said, a great map can be made well below 4mb. The only people who would be happy with a size cap increase are all of those people who make those naruto anime wars atrocities. By the way, welcome to wc3c. We're generally positive people...sometimes... |

In fact the only maps that should ever breach 4mb are high-quality single player RPGs that need things like music, lots of models, etc. A b.net map has no need for more than 4mb of custom stuff. |

hmm a bnet map could require a higher limit, when it's theme is anime ...for example ..and you dont want to use the standard wc3 models cause they dont fit that theme ... blah ...but most of the time 4MB are enough |

4mb is a good limit to keep me from having to actually download things bigger than it. I voted no. |

Sorry, that was supposed to be an argument FOR raising the limit? |
