For many of my recent models (almost all of which haven't been made public), I use Notepad to add or remove geosets. I've also heard of a Hive member who has been able to successfully animate through Notepad alone. While using Magos' Model Editor to create all of my models, I've been using the Translation & Scaling functions provided by it, but have found that rotating bones/meshes is impossible with the Rotate function, as it stretches to the extremes (One inch triangle stretched to, say... A mile and a half in length or width). What i'm asking is, does anyone know how to Rotate bones through Notepad? |

Don't know if this can help you, but for these kind of edits I'd use Oinkerwinkle's Vertex Modifier, it's more versatile for moving the vertexes out of a model, check it out... |

Wc3 uses 4 dimensional rotations, so calculating it yourself and writing in notepad, could be very tiresome, but it's possible. |

Michael, I don't think the Vertex Modifier has anything to do with animations. @ TotallyAwesome Care to give a small demonstration? |

No, it is practically impossible to animate rotations in Notepad by hand. The man of whom you speak uses a tool called Notetrack, that can only be accessed from the tutorial page concerning it on Oinkerwinkle's website. |
