I would like to expand the game's global music list in a secmpq mod. This is not limited to maps, so it must change the game's default music playlist. The problem is that I cannot find where to alter it. Is it hardcoded? (Also I'm not entirely sure if this is the right section for this kind of question, but it seems to be the most suitable as editing the list would probably entail editing a script.) /edit I did some digging around through the mpq files and stumbled upon ui/war3skins.txt. This contains music list data. I'll see if editing it changes anything. /edit Okay, that definitely controls the music list. Yay! Now I have another problem. When I port over the war3map files to my secmpq, there isn't any text for my new/edited stuff. I can't seem to figure out which file controls that, even though one of my super old mods from 2004 has working text and no extra files in it. |
